Two army jawans arrested for attacking CRPF personnel

Lucknow, Aug 5 (UNI) A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel was greivously wounded by two army jawans over a dispute in Lohit Express at Gonda Railway station late last night, police said today.

CRPF personnel Sriram aboard Amritsar-Guwahati Lohit express had a fight with Rajput regiment jawans Prashant Rai and Upendra Gale over some issue.

Soon the dispute that started with heated exchange of words aggravated and the army personnel attacked Sriram with a knife, sources said.

He was admitted to Trauma Centre here and his condition was stated stable.

A case had been registered and the duo were arrested.
