Three hard core criminals arrested

Munger, Aug 5 (UNI) The Munger police today arrested three hard core criminals of the Bindu Yadav's gang and seized four guns, including one looted police rifle, from their possession in a raid in Dasharathiya diara under Muffasil police station.

Displaying the seized firearms and ammunition before the media, Superintendent of Police Arvind Thakur said the police also recovered a four dozen live cartridges from their possession.

The kingpin of the gang, namely Binodi Yadav and Chatri, managed to escape from the police net by jumping into the swollen Ganga river.

The police raiding team had gone to the Etiara in search of Indradeo Sao, a trader of Sakhol village of Dharharu block, a JD (U) activist, who had been abducted by the Yadav's gang four days ago.

UNI
