Rain in most places of Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 5 (UNI) Rain occurred at most places in Kerala and at a few places in Lakshadweep, local weather office said here.

The chief amount of rainfall recorded in cm are Kasaragod five, Kannur and Kozhikode three each, Agathi, CIAL Kochi, Airport Kochi, Karippur airport and Thrissur two each.

Rain or thunder showers will occur at many places in the state and at a few places in the Union Territory.

Isolated heavy rain was likely over Kerala, it said and cautioned fishermen that strong winds from Westerly direction with speed occasionaly reaching 45-55 kmph, was likely along off Kerala coast and Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours.
