Nithari Juvenile prisoners to be shifted

Lucknow, Aug 5 (UNI) Authorities at the Dansa jail in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh have decided to keep juvenile prisoners and undertrails ''away'' from Nithari serial killings prime accused Moninder Singh Pandher and Surinder Kohli.

The decision was taken reportedly by DIG (Prinsons) R P Singh as the jail lacks a full-fledged juvenile cell, sources said here.

The juvenile prisoners and undertrials were so far being kept adjacent to the barracks where Pandher and Kohli are lodged.

Since there is no juvenile cell in Ghaziabad, children below 14 are lodged in the Dasna jail.
