Minor dies, 10 ill after consuming adulterated food

Ferozabad, Aug 5 (UNI) A minor girl was killed, while 10 others fell grievously ill after taking contaminated food in Ramgarh area here.

Police today said a family of Vijaynagar village fellsick after having dinner late yesterday.

They were admitted to a hospital, where Aarti (10) died this morning.

Enraged over the incident, a mob later blocked the national highway.

Meanwhile, shopkeeper Suresh had been arrested for supplying the adulterated food material they said.

Investigations were underway.
