HP CM, Governor express grief over accident in Chamba

Shimla, Aug 5 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Governor V S Kokje and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today expressed grief and sorrow over the road accident in Chamba district of the state in which 10 people were killed and 17 injured.

They expressed their condolences to the bereaved families who lost their family members in the accident.

The Chief Minister said the cause of the accident was not yet known, adding that the next of the kin of the have been an immediate relief of Rs 5,000 each and Rs 3,000 each to the injured.

State Animal Husbandry Minister Harsh Mahajan, MP, Pratibha Singh, local legislator Asha Kumari and several others have also expressed grief over the accident.
