DK agitates to protest delay in Seer case
Kancheepuram, August 5 (UNI) Dravida Kazhagam(DK) today resorted to a massive agitation here in protest against the delay in the hearing of the Kancheepuram Varadaraja Perumal temple Manager Shankararaman murder case in Pondicherry Court against Kanchi Jayendra Saraswati, and Vijayendra Saraswati, among other accused.
Police said the DK volunteers led by their District Secretary T A J Ashokan demanded that the case, which has taken considerable time, should be speeded up.
Jayendra Saraswati, Vijayendra Saraswati, his brother Raghu, noted criminal Appu, Shankara Mutt Manager Sundaresa Aiyar, were among others, arrested for the brutal day-light murder of Shankararaman in the temple premises here.
