Committee inspects work on circuit benches

Gulbarga, Aug 5 (UNI) A five-member committee today inspected the construction work of the High Court circuit bench here.

Talking to media, Committee Chairman S R Bannurmath said that the Chief Justice of the High Court had constituted a 5-memer committee to inspect the circuit bench building complexes at Gulbarga and Dharwad and explore the possibilities of opening of the circuit benches before the completion of the new buildings as it takes another year.

He said the Gulbarga High Court circuit bench building work is being taken up at a cost of R 55.10 crore in 180 acres of land.

The committee had also inspected the Dharwad building complex, he said.

He said that the committee had expressed its satisfaction over the work and would submit its report to the High Court Chief Justice in a week.
