3 die after consuming ethanol in Tripura

Agartala, Aug 5: At least three people died and two fell ill after consuming concentrated spirit at Mechuria village of Kamalpur in Tripura's Dhalai district yesterday.

Police here today said the victims were reportedly addicted to drugs and consumed spirit (ethanol) due to non-availability of alcohol.

The ill persons have been rushed to Kamalpur sub-divisional hospital where their condition was stated to be critical.
