Gulbarga, Aug 4 (UNI) Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa today expressed unhappiness over Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's remarks about transfer of power from Janata Dal (Secular) to the Bharatiya Janata Party on October 3.

Addressing a press conference here, the BJP leader, referring to the remarks made by the Prime Minister yesterday in Bangalore that he was also curious about the transfer of power, said the Prime Minister should not have commented like that.

''It seems some Congress leaders have mounted pressure on the Prime Minister and made him comment on the transfer of power,'' he said.

Reiterating that the transfer of power would be smooth and as expected, Mr Yediyurappa said he was fully confident that the JD(S) would hand over power to the BJP.
