Unity infraprojects wins Lalit Doshi award

Mumbai, Aug 4: Unity Infraprojects, Mumbai based construction company Ltd has been awarded the Lalit Doshi Memorial Award, for its outstanding performance at at Y B Chavan Hall here yesterday. Doot Transmission Pvt ltd, Aurangabad was the additional winner.

Unity Infraprojects have undertaken various projects like NABARD corporate office at Bandra and Abhyudaya co-operative bank building.

Its annual sale for 2006-07 was Rs 543.50 crores.

Aurangabad based Doot Transmission is a manufacturer of wiring harness for two and four wheelers and tractors. Its sales for 2006-07 was Rs 143 crores.

The annual award is jointly given by the Lalit Doshi Memorial Foundation and State Industrial and Investment Corporation of Maharashtra (SICOM) in the memory of the late Lalit Doshi, IAS, who was instrumental in formulating Maharashtra's Industrial Policy during his tenure from 1985-90.

Unity Infraprojects donated Rs 10 lakhs to the Lalit Doshi Memorial Foundation at the ceremony.
