Two feared drowned in Chathe river

Kohima, Aug 04 (UNI) At least two persons were feared drowned in Chathe river near here yesterday evening.

Police here today said the mishap occurred when a two-wheeler, being driven by the victims, at a high speed skid and fell into the river between Chumukedima check-gate and Kukidolong in Dimapur district.

However, the bodies were yet to be recovered, police said.

So far no complaint of anybody missing had been lodged in any of the police station in the district.
