Theft at parental house of Sunil Dutt

Yamunanagar, Aug 4 (UNI) Thieves broke into the parental house of late actor-politician Sunil Dutt in his native village Mandoli, about 9 km from here.

The thieves reportedly took away about 70 gm of gold jewellery, cash of Rs 10,000 along with silver utensils from the house.

The theft took place late last night in absence of Mr Som Dutt, younger brother of Sunil Dutt who had gone to Mumbai to meet his nephew filmstar Sanjay Dutt, lodged in Yerawada jail in Pune.

The Sadar Police had been informed of the theft but the case had not been registered yet.

Dr Krishna Pandit, MLA Yamunanagar also visited the house of Mr Som Dutt, he said.
