AP: Rescue operations on to save 6 yr old boy

Ongole, Aug 4: The rescue operations to save the six-year-old boy who fell into a 40-foot-deep borewell at Botlaguduru village continued for the second day here today.

District officials said a pit parallel to the borewell was bored to rescue the boy Pelluru Kartik.

Following rains during the last two days, the borewell was filled with water.

However, the chances of boy's survival were dim, the officials added.
