Police arrested three for stealing LPG cylinders

Chennai, Aug 4 (UNI) Police arrested three persons for stealing LPG cylinders from LPG vendor boys at Virugambakkam and Saligram, and recovered 35 cylinders from them here today.

Police said the three were arrested at Arunachalam road in Saligram area, when they were moving in a suspecious manner.

During the interrogation, the three admitted that they used to steal the cylinders from the tricycles of the LPG supplying boys, when the later went to supply the cylinders, after parking the tricycles on the road side.

Later, they were remanded to judicial custody, police said.
