Kishangarh, Ajmer, Aug 4 (UNI) The BJP state executive said here today that there is no space for a 'Third Front in Rajasthan and appealed the people to be vigilent against the ''opportunistic castist forces cobbled together before the elections to grab political power in the name of social engineering.'' Addressing a press conference here today after the inaugural session of the two day's state executive, which began here today, party national treasurer Ramdas Agarwal said the Uttar Pradesh and Bihar ''experiment of social engineering'' have no place in Rajasthan as a two party political system has taken deep root in the state.

Without naming the BSP, he said some ''power brokers'' have been active in Rajasthan and ''were hoping to ride on the plank of social engineering to grab political power with opportunist caste alliances,'' but asserted they would not succeed in their endeavouts.

Mr Agarwal said the BJP would organise a 'Janjagaran Abhiyan', coinciciding with the 150th anniversary for the first freedom movement in 1857. He said the anniversary could have been celebrated jointly as a national event but the ruling UPA, led by Congress, made it a ''partisan event'' and had not taken the opposition parties into confidence in the celebration. ''So the Bharatiya Janata Party decided to cleberate it separately,'' he said.

He said the party has also decided to moblise all its forces for the proposed Kisan Rally in Delhi on August 20 in protest against the wheat import at ''exorbitant prices'' of Rs. 1400 per quintal, which is a betrayal by the UPA government of the farmers in the country which pays only Rs.800 for a quintal.

Another issue the party discussed at the state executive meeting, being held after about a year, was the strengthening the party at the grass root level and creating a group of dedicated party workers at all the 35,000 polling booths in the state before the next Assembly elections.

The meeting is being attended by party general secretary in charge of Rajasthan Gopinath Munde, party national vice president Kailash Meghwal, national treasurer Ramdas Agarwal, national joint general secretary Saudan Singh, secretary Prabhath Jha, Mahila Morcha national president Kiran Maheshwari, Youva Morcha national president Amit Thakkar among others.
