Heavy rainfall in Mumbai, Konkan in last 24 hours

Mumbai, Aug 4: Heavy rainfall continued to lash the city and Konkan region in the last 24 hours.

According to sources in the weather office, during last 24 hours, Raigad recorded 129 mm rainfall, whereas Mumbai recorded 111 mm rainfall, Ratnagiri 89 mm and Sindhudurg 73 mm.

The suburbs of the city and the neighbouring Thane district received 63 mm rainfall each, according to sources in the Revenue department.

In other parts of the state, rainfall recorded as Buldhana district recorded 61 mm rainfall, Kolhapur 49 mm, Satara 52 mm, Pune district 19 mm, Gadchiroli 44 mm, Bhandara 28 mm, Chandrapur 19 mm, Gondia 15 mm, Nagpur 12 mm and Wardha 11 mm, while Aurangabad received scanty rainfall.
