Maulana Suleman warns dissidents

Fatehabad, Aug 4 (UNI) Maulana Mohammad Suleman, state president of the All Haryana Organisation of Imams of Mosques (AHOIM) today warned the 'dissidents' of stern action and asked them to refrain from anti-waqf board activities and concentrate on religious matters instead.

Talking to media persons here today, Maulana, who heads the organisation of over 400 imams in Haryana, alleged that certain imams led by Imam Mohammad Ramzaan of the Faridabad Idgah and Imam Mohammad Asghar, former Imam of Ambala had been trying to misguide political leadership in Haryana and at the Centre about the state waqf board.

He claimed that allegations were motivated, as they had been transferred by the board recently against their wish on disciplinary grounds.

He also appealed to the Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and A R Antulay , Chairman of the All India Waqf Council to discourage such elements, as they were out to harm the Muslim community at large.
