Many places in Kerala get rain

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 4 (UNI) Rain occurred at many places in Kerala and at isolated places in Lakshadweep, the local weather office said today.

Irikkur recorded the highest rainfall of five cm, followed by Kasargode four cm. Kozhikode, Karipur Airport and Ottappalm got three cm rain each, it said.

The Met office said isolated heavy rain was likely in North Kerala during the next 48 hours.
