Life-term for seven in murder case

Biharsharif, Aug 4 (UNI) A local court has awarded life imprisonment to seven people in a murder case here.

The court also slapped a fine of Rs one lakh each on all the convicts.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Bipin Dutt Pathak sentenced all the accused to imprisonment yesterday after they were found guilty in the case.

According to the charges, all the convicts were involved in the murder of one Savitri Devi, who was shot dead on March 19, 2003, at Ahiachak village in Nalanda district.
