Left parties to organise 'Anti-Repression Week'

Hyderabad, Aug 4 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (CPI), CPI (Marxist) and four other Left parties in Andhra Pradesh would organise 'Anti Repression Week' from August 12 to 18.

In a release here, the Left party leaders said the Communist parties would organise the week-long programme to protest against the government's attempt to supress the land struggle and the campaign against the party and its leaders by the ruling Congress.

They said the Left parties would organise exhibitions and distribute pamphlets and booklets to create awareness among the people about the land struggle.
