Fire breaks out in Alliance Jute Mill godown

Barrackpore, Aug 4 (UNI) A Fire broke out in a godown of Alliance Jute Mill under Jagaddal police station in North 24 Parganas this evening, Fire Brigade officials said .

Four fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames.

Fire in the mill's godown has become a regular affair as a godown of Waverley Jute Mill had incurred a substantial loss due to fire on July 25 last.

The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, the officials said.
