MP: Ex-ICDP officer gets jail

Hoshangabad (MP), Aug 4: A local court today sentenced the then Integrated Child Development Project officer to three years' imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1,000 for cheating.

Judicial Magistrate Deepali Sharma awarded the punishment to Ramila Javde who, according to prosecution, siphoned off money during her posting in this district's Babai about 15 years back after making bogus appointments of anganwadi workers and also underpaid genuine workers.
