3 pseudo naxals held

Hyderabad, Aug 4 (UNI) The city police today arrested three pseudo naxals who extorted money from a college correspondent here.

Police said VenkatRamana, T Kantha Rao and T Sadanandam belonging to Karimnagar District extorted money not only from a correspondent of education institution at Himayatnagar but several others in the limits of Hyderabad and Cyberabad.

The police also recovered Rs 6.20 lakh, 14 tolas of gold ornaments and self-signed cheques worth Rs ten lakh.
