2 students drown in South Sikkim

Gangtok, Aug 4 (UNI) Two students drowned today while swimming in a lake at Rabongla in South Sikkim.

Police said Pramod Chettri and Kamal Sharma, both students of Class XII of a local senior secondary school, had gone swimming at Cho-Zho lake in Rabongla along with five friends when the incident happened.

The bodies were brought to South district headquarters at Namchi for post-mortem. The deceased were from the surrounding areas of the Rabongla school.
