Two killed of snake bite

Panipat, Aug 3 (UNI) Two people, including a 7- year old boy, died of snake bite at Puthar village in this district last night.

The deceased were identified as Dhani Chand ( 33) and his son Vikram of Hawasa village in Darbhanga District of Bihar. Their bodies were brought to local civil hospital here for postmortem today.

Dhani Chand, who was working on contract basis on a farm land, was residing alongwith his family in a tubewell room in the fields. He and his son were sleeping on a cot in the fields, using a mosquito-net for protection when a snake entered into the net and bit them.

Both of them were found dead in the morning with the snake inside the net. The dead bodies were taken to the civil hospital after the snake was killed.
