Mild intensity temblor rocks eastern Nepal

New Delhi, Aug 3: A slight intensity quake, measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale, rocked Eastern Nepal this morning.

The Indian Meteorological Department said the temblor, which occurred at around 0921 hrs IST, had its epicentre at 27.1 degrees North Latitude and 86.9 degrees East Longitude.

There were no reports of any casualties so far.
