TCS to build Integrated Financial Management Solution for IOM

New Delhi, Aug 3 (UNI) Leading business solutions provider Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) today said it will build and implement an integrated financial management solution for the International Organisation for Migration (IOM).

In a multi-year engagement, TCS will implement a comprehensive system that will provide a global solution for accounting, budgeting, donor relations, treasury, funds, grants management and donor reporting, said a statement.

The system will also provide a corporate financial tool connecting IOM's field missions across the world, added the statement.

''We have a vast array of financial responsibilities towards our donors and other stakeholders. Our key priority is to ensure that our financial operations are running smoothly and efficiently,'' said IOM Director General Brunson McKinley.

''Devising and delivering a new global financial system for the IOM further validates our capabilities,'' said TCS Executive Vice President and Head (Global Sales and Operations) N Chandrasekaran.

IOM is headquartered in Geneva with 120 member states. It is an inter-governmental organisation that assists overseas workers, governments and other partners on global migration issues and on meeting the operational challenges of migration through practical solutions.
