S K Goel takes charge as UCO CMD

Kolkata, Aug 03 (UNI) S K Goel has assumed charge as Chairman and Managing Director of UCO Bank from August 1, 2007.

A company release here said Mr Goel was a first class post graduate from the Delhi School of Economics.

Mr Goel started his banking career with the Bank of Baroda in 1974 and then joined Andhra Bank in 1980.

Mr Goel is currently a member of the Legal and Banking Operational Committee of the Indian Banking Association.
