Jitendra Ahwad appointed NCP observer in Guj

Ahmedabad, Aug 3 (UNI) NCP president Sharad Pawar has appointed Maharashtra state assembly member and syndicate member and national secretary of Maharashtra University Jitendra Ahwad as observer of Gujarat for the forthcoming Assembly election in the State.

According to a release, Mr Ahwad will work under the guidance of Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel of NCP.

Gujarat president of NCP Jayant Patel, NCP Gujarat general secretary Mahipal Patel and NCP party workers Ashok Goswami, Bholabhai Patel, Pruthul Mehta, NCP women's cell president Bina Garg and NCP minority cell president Khaliq Shekh have welcomed Mr Ahwad's appointment.
