Jain muni Subodhsagarjee Maharaj died

Ahmedabad, Aug 3 (UNI) Renowned Jain Muni Subodhsagarjee Maharaj died at the Karnavati Hospital here early today.

Subodhsagarjee, 86, was undergoing treatment in the hospital for quite some time. He died due to old age.

The final rites of the Muni will be performed at Vijapur town tomorrow. He hailed from the famous Jain pilgrim centre, Mahudi.

His death was mourned by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Opposition Leader Arjun Modhwadia and several other political, social and religious leaders in the state.
