Glasgow terror suspect Kafeel Ahmed dies of burns

London, Aug 3: Glasgow terror suspect Kafeel Ahmed succumbed to his wounds at the special burns unit of the Glasgow Royal Infirmary early this morning, said the British police.

Kafeel had set himself on fire after allegedly driving an explosives-laden jeep into the Glasgow airport terminal on June 30.

The 27-year-old engineer from Bangalore had sustained 90 percent burns and been in the hospital for a month.

He had been in a state of coma throughout his hospital stay, and was kept under armed police guard.
