BSF jawan found dead in pond

Krishnagar, Aug 3 (UNI) One BSF jawan was today found dead and floating in a pond outside the 36 battalion BSF camp in Kalyani.

Preliminary reports show Shatpal Singh, BSF jawan, in a drunken state had walked over to the pond last night and drowned, police said today.

The body has been sent to Kalyani Jawaharlal Nehru hospital for post mortem.

UNI
