Boat accident kill 4 in Motihari

Motihari, Aug 3 (UNI) Four people drowned when a boat capsized in a flooded lake near Badkabaunsha village under Chakiya police station in East Champaran district today.

Official sources said the boat was ferrying 13 people of which nine swam to safety.

The sources said the accident occurred as the boat was overloaded.

The victims were on their way to Kathariya for collecting fodder.

The bodies were being fished out, they added.
