Wipro BPO-MeritTrac demonstrate Process Innovations

Bangalore, Aug 2 (UNI) Wipro BPO, one of the leading BPO services company in India and MeritTrac Services, India's Largest Skills Assessment Company today announced the success of their partnership in redefining voice evaluation processes and deploying it for mass recruitment drives over the path breaking telephonic delivery platform.

Wipro BPO which was on a charter to recruit 2000 personnel monthly felt the need for a robust, scalable evaluation methodology that would eliminate subjectivity in hiring. Improving the quality of hires and minimising waste through early attrition were the principal drives behind this engagement with MeritTrac, Wipro BPO said in a release here.

Based on the widely-deployed 'MeritTrac's Spoken English Test' framework that measured a candidate's spoken English skills on parameters such Grammar, Accent Neutrality, Fluency and Voice clarity, a project was rolled out to customise the tool to Wipro BPO's requirement. The scoring grid was customised to each process to define the hiring threshold, thereby creating an auto redeployment framework, the release said. Wipro BPO had adopted the innovative telephonic mode of evaluations from MeritTrac, pioneering the next wave in conducting voice evaluations.
