Two school children killed due to Compound wall collapse

Tumkur, Aug 2 (UNI) Two school girls studying in first standard in a private school in Chikkanayakanahalli town in Tumkur district were killed when compound wall of the institution fell on them this evening.

According to police sources the incident occurred in the evening in which two school children, identified as Charitha (06) and Yashaswini (06) studying in their 1st standard fell prey to the compound wall collapse.

The school was reportedly run by a Mutt was housed in a weak structure resulted into the mishap. Large number of people have gathered before the Hospital where the bodies were kept were protesting against the incident.
