State Police nabbed nine dacoits

Gulbarga, Aug 02 (UNI) The district police have nabbed nine dacoits who were on prowl along with lethal weapons near Jewargi-Sindgi national highway this afternoon.

According to police sources a police party raided and nabbed the dacoits who were waiting to strike near the national highway this afternoon.

Police also recovered several lethal weapons from the possessions of the dacoits who were all in the age group of 20-25.

All the arrested were produced before the court and were sent to judicial custody, the sources added.
