Raghuvanshi Bombay HC Additional Solicitor General

New Delhi, Aug 2 (UNI) Rajendra Raghuvanshi has been appointed Additional Solicitor General of India in the High Court of Bombay at Mumbai by President Pratibha Patil, the Law and Justice Ministry announced today.

The appointment notified yesterday will be for two years, the announcement said.

A former Assistant Government Pleader for Maharashtra Government, Raghuvanshi worked as Panel Counsel for Union of India in the Bombay High Court, it said.

Last year, he was elected Bar Council of India Vice-Chairman, after having been its Member from Maharashtra and Goa in 2004. In 1988, he was BCI Maharashtra and Goa Chairman, it said.

In 1990, Raghuvanshi was elected Vice-President of Western India Advocates Association at Bombay High Court, it said.
