Police nab nine dacoits

Gulbarga, Aug 02 (UNI) The district police today nabbed nine dacoits who were on prowl and seized lethal weapons from them near Jewargi-Sindgi national highway.

According to police sources, a police party apprehended the dacoits when they were waiting to strike near the national highway.

Police also recovered several lethal weapons from the dacoits who were in the age group of 20-25.

The arrested dacoits were produced before the court and remanded in judicial custody, the sources added.
