OMM merges with BSP in Orissa

New Delhi, Aug 2 (UNI) The Orissa Mukti Morcha led by former Union Minister Bhajman Behera, today merged with the Bahujan Samaj Party, expressing true solidarity with the party's ideals and vision.

In a letter to BSP chief Mayawati, the OMM said the party, alongwith its politbureau, executive, and its entire network now stands merged with the BSP and continue working for the Dalits, SCs/STs, OBCs and Minorities.

It also said elections to state unit will soon be held as per the BSP norms, in the presence of BSP leaders.

It also promised to carry out all ongoing programmes of the party.
