New design for Fly-over at Peddar Road

Mumbai, Aug 2 (UNI) Maharashtra PWD minister Anil Deshmukh today said the government is studying the fly-over at Peddar road in south Mumbai and has taken up a new design into consideration.

Replying to a question by Ramesh Nikose (Cong) and others, Mr Deshmukh said since 36 meter area of the flyover is coming up in Chowpatty area, it has been submitted to the Maharashtra state coastal management for its approval with a new design.

He said there was no opposition from veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar to the fly-over.
