JBF posts Rs 26.47 net profits in Q1

Mumbai, Aug 2 (UNI) JBF Industries Limited, a leading manufacturer of Polyester Chips and Polyester Yarn, has posted a net profit of Rs 26.47 crore for the quarter ended June 30 as compared to Rs 16.54 crore in curresponding period in past fiscal.

Net turnover rose to Rs 494.38 crore as against Rs 287.63 crore in past year. Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the first quarter stood at Rs 4.87 compared to Rs 3.35 in previous quarter.

Company's total exports for the quarter jumped to Rs 68.18 crore from Rs 29.23 crore in past fiscal.
