Fresh warrant for Salem in MCOCA case

New Delhi, Aug 2 (UNI) A city court today issued a fresh production warrant against underworld don Abu Salem in connection with a MCOCA case in which he was declared a proclaimed offender earlier.

Salem, who is an accused in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case, is in judicial custody in Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai.

There are three criminal cases registered against him here, two related to attempted extortion and one under MCOCA, accusing for threatening South Delhi businessman Ashok Gupta to extort Rs five crore.

Additional Sessions Judge Ravinder Kaur issued a fresh production warrant for Salem for August 21.

UNI
