Sukhoi head resigns as design bureau chief
Moscow, Aug 1 (UNI) Director General Mikhail Pogosyan of Sukhoi Aircraft Holding Company has resigned from his post, as the head of Sukhoi Design Bureau.
The Sukhoi Design Bureau's board of directors accepted Mr Pogosyan's resignation at a meeting on July 30, citing his desire to focus on managing the Sukhoi Aircraft Holding Company, RIA Novosti reported today quoting the company.
The board also appointed Igor Ozar as the Managing Director, Sukhoi Design Bureau yesterday. The Bureau is part of the company, which is 100 per cent state-owned.
Mr Pogosyan currently holds several posts, including board member of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), a majority state-owned corporation consolidating aircraft-building companies and state assets engaged in the manufacture, design, and sale of military, non-military, transport, and unmanned aircraft.
