Bangladesh Army Chief postpones his visits to India, Pakistan

Dhaka, Aug 1 (UNI) Bangladesh Army Chief General Moeen U Ahmed has postponed his scheduled visits to India and Pakistan due to the serious flood situation in the country.

An announcement by the Army Headquarters said today that the Army chief has already informed his Indian and Pakistani counterparts about the postponement of his visits sending letters.

Gen Ahmed today visited some flood-affected areas and distributed relief among the victims.
