Japanese Vice Defence Minister arrives in Nepal

Kathmandu, July 31 (UNI) Senior Vice Defence Minister of Japan Takahide Kimura arrived here today on a three-day official visit to the Himalayan Kingdom.

''The main purpose of Kimura's visit is to inspect the works of Japanese arms' monitors working under the United Mission in Nepal (UNMIN),'' the Japanese Embassy said.

Kimura will meet Prime Minister and Defence Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, Minister for Foreign Affairs Sahana Pradhan, UNMIN officials and other senior officials during the visit.
