Japan PM ruling bloc loses upper house majority-NHK
TOKYO, July 29 (Reuters) Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's conservative ruling camp lost its majority in the upper house of parliament in today's election, public broadcaster NHK predicted.
The ruling camp will still be in government even if it loses in the upper house since it has a strong grip on the more powerful lower chamber, but without a majority Abe will be hard-pressed to pass laws, threatening policy paralysis.
