Rayya, Amritsar, July 29 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today expressed satisfaction over the ongoing development programmes and assured that he would leave no stone unturned to get funds from the Centre for projects.

He expressed these during a day long 'Sangat Darshan' programme here, during which he met with several village Panchayats, including those of Baba Bakala, Bhindran, Usma, Gagar-Bhana, Sedonke, Muchhal, Kaleke and Rayya.

He gave a patient hearing to their grievances and pointed out that the previous Congress government had never bothered to get funds either from centre or from any other agency for projects. He claimed that he taken personal interests and had convinced the various Ministries and departments of the Union Government to clear the pending centrally aided schemes.

Referring to the Guru Gobind Singh Refinery at Bathinda, Mr Badal said that it was his predecessor Capt Amarinder Singh who had ruined this prestigious project only because of his petty personal interests. This dream project of SAD-BJP government with capacity to change the complete scenario of the state would change the economic scenario of the state, he added.

He said that he would also ensure that shortage of funds do not hamper the timely completion of all these works. He also assured that the all collective and individual complaints received by him would be dealt on priority.
