Ajuna Awardee SP booked in cheating case
Jalandhar, Jul 29 (UNI) An Arjuna Awardee former kabbadi player presently working as Superintendent of Police in Punjab Armed Police (PAP) was today booked in a cheating case.
Senior Superintendent of Police Arpit Shukla confirmed that a case of cheating was registered against PAP SP Balwinder.
Police said that Balwinder was booked on a complaint of an NRI Amarjeet Singh Dhanoa. The NRI in the complaint to the police alleged that Balwinder Singh had illegally occupied his house at Central Town area of the city and sub-let to some other persons. A case under sections 420, 448 and 506 of IPC was registered against the SP after an inquiry found him guilty.
