Train movements disrupted in Samastipur division

Samastipur, July 27 (UNI) Train services on Nirmali-Ghoghardiha and Mahrail-Jhanjharpur sections of Samastipur railway division under East Central Railway(ECR) remained disrupted for the second day today following incessant rain.

Divisional railway manager Dayanand here today said that flood water has submerged the tracks at several places on these sections, forcing the cancellation of train services on the route.

''Preventive measures were being taken up to stop flood water from submerging the tracks at Hayaghat, Bairgania, Riga and Ghoghardigha stations,'' he added.
